at Forge & Form
We’re looking for clinicians who want to grow as much as they want to help their clients grow. At Forge & Form, we believe the best outcomes come from practitioners who feel genuinely supported, challenged, and invested in their own development -- and we build the practice around that. Whether you’re looking to build a full caseload, develop a clinical specialty, or find a team that takes the work as seriously as you do, we’d love to hear from you. We welcome applications from all qualified clinicians ready to do meaningful work in a practice that meets them at that level.
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
We’re looking for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who thinks relationally -- in sessions and about the practice as a whole. Couples work is hard. We want someone who finds it meaningful.
At Forge & Form, LMFTs carry a mixed caseload that can include couples, families, and individuals. We work with people who are serious about their relationships and willing to do the kind of work that actually changes them.
What we’re looking for: Active Virginia LMFT licensure, at least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, and demonstrated experience with couples or family therapy modalities (EFT, IBCT, Gottman, or similar). Strong candidates will have experience navigating relational rupture and repair.
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
We’re looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor who brings genuine clinical curiosity to every session. You don’t need to have it all figured out -- you need to be willing to go where the work actually leads.
At Forge & Form, LPCs carry a caseload of adults, couples, or young people (12+) navigating real transitions: identity, relationships, career, grief, and the patterns that keep showing up. You’ll have access to ongoing clinical consultation, a collaborative team, and a referral pipeline so you can focus on the work.
What we’re looking for: Active Virginia LPC licensure, at least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, and a genuine interest in depth-oriented or relational work. Telehealth experience a plus.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
We’re looking for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who brings a systems lens to individual and relational work -- someone who understands that the context people live in shapes everything about how they heal.
At Forge & Form, LCSWs work with adults and young people navigating major life transitions, relationship stress, and long-standing patterns. You’ll be part of a small, invested team with room to develop specialty areas and clinical focus over time.
What we’re looking for: Active Virginia LCSW licensure, at least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, and comfort working with high-functioning adults who want more than surface-level support. Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
We’re looking for a licensed psychologist who wants to practice at the level their training prepared them for -- with complex presentations, meaningful assessment work, and clinical relationships that go deep.
At Forge & Form, our PsyD-level clinicians bring specialty expertise that the rest of the team can draw on. We work with high-functioning adults, including professionals in high-demand fields, veterans, and people for whom prior therapy didn’t go far enough.
What we’re looking for: Active Virginia licensure as a psychologist, interest in assessment and/or specialty populations, and the ability to work with referrals that require more than a generalist approach. Experience with IC/federal, military, or executive populations a plus.
